Cancellation and Refund Policy

This Cancellation and Refund Policy applies to all Global Assistance Services purchased from Purple Umbrella Fintech Private Limited via our website, or authorized partners. The package will be subject to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Free Look Period

    Subject to applicable law, you are entitled to a full refund of the premium paid if you cancel your insurance policy within 1 day of start of travel (the "Free Look Period"), provided that:

    • You have not filed a claim under the policy; and

    • Your scheduled departure date has not occurred.

    To request a cancellation under the Free Look Period, you must submit your request in writing to our Customer Service Team (see Section 4 below).

  2. Cancellation After Free Look Period

    After the expiration of the Free Look Period, the policy is considered fully earned, and no refunds shall be provided, except as may be required by applicable law or expressly provided in the policy documentation. This includes situations where:

    • You voluntarily cancel the policy after the Free Look Period.

    • Your travel plans change or are canceled.

    • You decide you no longer require coverage.

  3. Non-Refundable Circumstances

    Refunds will not be issued if:

    • A claim has been filed or is pending under the policy.

    • The covered trip has commenced, regardless of claim activity.

    • The policy is otherwise non-refundable, as specified at the time of purchase or in the applicable plan documentation.

  4. How to Request Cancellation or Refund

    All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing to: support.myavio@bimaplan.co

    Requests must include:

    • Full name of the customer

    • Certificate number

    • Date of purchase

    • Reason for cancellation

  5. Refund Processing

    Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7 business days of approval. Please note that financial institutions may require additional time to post the funds to your account.

  6. General Terms and Conditions

    • The Company reserves the right to amend or modify the services and terms outlined herein, at its discretion and without any prior notice.

    • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka in India.
